Prestige Group, through its joint venture firm Canopy Living LLP, has signed an agreement to acquire a premium 16.38-acre land parcel in the Padi–Korattur micro-market of Chennai for ₹561 crore. The joint venture brings together Prestige Group Chennai Projects and Arihant Foundations & Housing Ltd under the Canopy Living LLP banner to execute the development.
The site itself carries a strong industrial pedigree. The land was earlier owned by Sundaram-Clayton Ltd and is expected to be developed into a large-scale residential or mixed-use project, located within Korattur village, Ambattur Taluk, a zone that is fast transforming into a modern residential and commercial corridor.
As planned, the development is designed as a genuine mixed-use address. It combines modern residential, commercial and retail spaces to create a vibrant community for both living and working, offering a range of luxury apartments in Korattur, including 2 BHK and 3 BHK apartments, along with well planned commercial zones and retail shops.
