Overview: Prestige Bengaluru Airport City Convention & Mixed-Use Development
PRESTIGE, in partnership with Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL), has unveiled a landmark mixed-use development within Bengaluru Airport City. The project is planned on a 14.2-acre parcel near Kempegowda International Airport, will entail investment of around Rs 1,800 crore, and covers 1.5 million square feet. Located in Bangalore, Bengaluru Airport City, the development is designed to serve global travellers, event organisers, corporations, visitors and residents alike.
Anchored by a convention and exhibition centre, the mixed use development will include luxury hotels, office space, retail and food outlets, as well as a performing arts space, with a proposed seating capacity of 2,500. Hospitality will be delivered under two globally renowned brands, with the development housing 600 keys with Marriott Marquis and 200 keys with St. Regis, taking the total inventory to 800 keys.
The project is designed by global architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), and is set to draw inspiration from Bengaluru's dual identity as a garden city and a centre for technology and innovation. Construction is set to commence by early 2027, and the project is expected to become operational by 2031.
This development forms part of the larger 450-acre Airport City initiative being developed by BACL, of which about 110 acres have already been developed or are under development. PRESTIGE brings its decades of delivery experience to this institutional-grade destination, positioning Bengaluru as a stronger global gateway for business events and hospitality.
