Overview
Prestige Convention Hospitality Hub is a mega mixed-use development taking shape within Bengaluru Airport City, right at the doorstep of Kempegowda International Airport. Prestige Group, in partnership with Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL), the wholly-owned development arm of the airport operator BIAL, has announced this integrated destination that brings together a state-of-the-art convention and exhibition centre, luxury hotels, premium office space, and curated food and beverage experiences within one seamlessly connected environment. The project is anchored by a world-class convention centre positioned to host large-scale international conferences and exhibitions, giving Bengaluru a serious new venue in the global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) circuit.
The hospitality component features two globally recognised brands: the St. Regis and Marriott Marquis, marking one of the most significant luxury hotel tie-ups in South India's airport-linked real estate. Together with a performing arts venue, Grade-A office space, and retail and dining precincts, the development is designed to function as a 24x7 live-work-play ecosystem for global travellers, corporations, event organisers, and residents of the wider Bengaluru Airport City. The convention and mixed use commercial hub spans 1.5 million square feet, to be developed at a construction cost of about ₹1,800 crore.
Project design has been entrusted to Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), a London based architectural firm, appointed for the development, which is expected to start by 2027 and be completed by 2031. This puts the project firmly in the announcement and design stage today, with ground-level construction activity to follow once approvals and detailed planning are finalised. As part of BACL's larger Airport City vision — which also includes corporate parks, a medical district, a knowledge park, and a concert arena — this convention and hospitality hub is positioned to be one of the most prominent gateway developments for Bengaluru.
For Prestige Group, this project is a strategic move toward long-term annuity income, complementing its residential portfolio with large-format commercial and hospitality assets. It reinforces the company's growing presence around Devanahalli and Bengaluru Airport City, an area rapidly emerging as North Bengaluru's most closely watched growth corridor.
